The Language Technology Initiative is a project with a focus on education and science. One of the main goals of the project is to develop several study courses, increase the number of specialists with digital skills and provide high-level digital skills in language technology to at least 820 students by June 30, 2026.
We are happy to announce that in only one semester, 365 students have already been trained at the Faculty of Computing (now the Faculty of Science and Technology), the Faculty of Humanities, as well as at the Riga Technical University! Although the project aims to train 820 students who will receive certificates with DigiComp 2.2. assessment of digital skills and competences of the framework, we hope that there will be even more than 820 students interested in learning these study courses!
